We develop physiology-based courses and subjects of the highest standard, and deliver an educational experience that is relevant and engaging. We recognise the diversity of student backgrounds, and aim to inspire all students to succeed while fostering a passion for life-long learning and curiosity. Through the dissemination of research in to the scholarship of teaching, we aim to be recognised as leaders in physiology education both within Australia and abroad.
We endeavour to improve the health and well-being of people and animals by conducting, and disseminating, innovative, rigorously-performed research that advances our understanding of physiology, and pathophysiology, of cells, tissues, organs and body systems.
The Physiology Group works collaboratively, with each other and external partners, in an environment where new ideas are fostered and creativity is prized.
