Casual academic staff required - Port Macquarie Campus

The School of Biomedical Science is seeking a casual academic staff to teach face-to-face for the subject “Health, Society and Paramedic Practice” at Port Macquarie Campus.

Applicants must have a masters degree or higher in Health or Allied Health or the equivalent with an experience of teaching in undergraduate students.

Hours will vary according to the subject and timetable. Interested applicants must be available to teach for a whole session (from March/April till July).

The selection process involves submitting a CV and a letter addressing the selection criteria listed below. A short list of candidates will be interviewed.

Selection Criteria

  • Graduated masters degree or higher in health or Allied Health
  • Demonstrated capability in high quality teaching in health or allied health at the undergraduate level.
  • Evidence of commitment to excellent in teaching.
  • Demonstrated ability of excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively and effectively with colleagues within and different schools.
  • Ability to relate to and work effectively with undergraduate students and those from other cultural backgrounds.
