In 2014 the Nepal study tour will be led by Dr Hem Sagar Baral, Country Manager – Nepal, Zoological Society of London and Adjunct Senior Lecturer, School of Environmental Sciences, CSU. Hem is also the National Coordinator, Midwinter Waterbird Count, Wetlands International, Founder President, Himalayan Nature and Founder President, Nepalese Ornithological Union. Gangaram Singh MSc. of the Department of National Parks and Wildlife Conservation and Himalayan Nature, Nepal will also accompany the tour. Staff of Himalayan Nature coordinate and assist the study tour with travel and accommodation arrangements and travel with the group at all times as does a CSU staff member.
The program was developed, and up until 2013, led by Dr. Iain R. Taylor of Charles Sturt University. Iain's dedication to the development of the program, and his involvement in Nepal, is greatly appreciated and has ensured that the tour will be as successful in the future as it has been in the past.
