'Return to Research' funding scheme.
This scheme is designed to facilitate a return to active research for staff within the Faculty of Science. This is targeted at staff who have taken a significant career break for reasons including, but not limited to, maternity or paternity leave, extended sick leave, carers leave or other circumstances that have required a break from their research activities.
Funding can be used to support activities such as external grant submission, data collection and analysis. The funds are not available for travel to attend conferences or training sessions (refer to the Conference and Training Scheme). The maximum individual request is $7,000. A final report will be required form successful applicants. Any publications and research outputs must be entered into CRO. All expenditure must be completed by the end of November 2019.
Applications, including a detailed budget and prospective research outputs, as well as a supporting letter from the relevant Head of School, should be submitted to Associate Dean Research by email.
Applications can be made at any time and will be considered on a case by case basis. For further information please contact ADR Acting Professor Jane Quinn FOS-ADR-Exec@csu.edu.au or (02) 6933 3408.
