Living Well Across the Lifespan - 28 and 29 November

Registrations will soon open for the Faculty of Science Research Symposium which is being held on the 28th and 29th of November on the Wagga campus.

In 2019, the focus is on the 'broad' range of health research being undertaken at CSU.

We are excited to announce our first two keynote speakers:

  • Dr Bill Lord, Adjunct Associate Professor in Paramedic Studies, Monash University - Focus: Transforming paramedic practice through research
  • Dr Sarah Britton - NSW Chief Veterinary Officer, Department of Primary Industries - Focus: One Health (the control of diseases that can spread between animals and humans and food safety).

The event aims to encourage research cross-collaboration and share the breadth of research being undertaken within the FOS, and CSU more broadly.

The symposium will feature three sessions on Day 1 (28 November) covering a range of research themes:

One Health and Biosecurity,
Food for Life
Health Research for Translation and Impact

Day 2 (29 November) is a half-day focused on Co-production and health research with community impact

If you have an interest in any aspect of health research you are encouraged to attend.

More information and registrations will open the week of 23 September 2019.

In the meantime save the dates in your diary
