CSU's new Bachelor of Agricultural Science Industry Practicum program prepares students for a future role as leaders in the agricultural industry by ensuring they receive industry relevant technical skills, professional skills and experience during their university studies.
Timing of Placement
The Year Before | |

July | Students commence seeking and applying to preferred workplaces |
August - December | Host companies may conduct interviews with students and/or conduct formal recruitment and selection processes. |
August - December | Students may undertake two weeks work experience through the CSU Careers Service as a test run for the next year. |
During the Practicum Year | |
February | Students return to CSU for the first six weeks of session one for on campus study in preparation for placement. |
April - September | Students complete a minimum twelve weeks of practicum at the workplace |
September | Students return to CSU for the last six weeks of session two for on campus study. |
