Heather has been employed at CSU since 2001 and is the subject coordinator
for Equine Reproduction & Breeding Management and Horse Breeding
Technologies, as well as teaching into a number of other subjects in Equine Science,
Veterinary Science and Animal Science.
She completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Equine Studies) at CSU in 1998
and went on to gain a MSc(VetSc) degree studying the effect of diet on equine
digestion and stereotypic behaviour. Research interests now focus on broodmare
management and artificial breeding. Heather also runs her own Warmblood stud
and is a competitive dressage rider.
