B. Health Science (Speech Pathology)

Lisa is a Speech Pathologist with a range of clinical, academic and research experience. She has worked clinically in a variety of hospital and community settings with both children and adults. Lisa is passionate about excellence in clinical practice, teaching, research and ongoing education. Currently Lisa is completing a PhD at Charles Sturt University investigating why and how stuttering reduction occurs after treatment.

Teaching

Lisa commenced permanent employment as a Lecturer in the Speech Pathology Program at CSU in 2013. Prior to this she has been employed as a casual lecturer and tutor in a number of subjects within the wider School of Community Health since 2007. She has also provided clinical education to allied health students in a variety of hospital and community settings.

Research and Publications

Lisa is currently completing a PhD investigating why and how stuttering reduces after treatment. Her other research interests include stuttering treatment, education of health professionals, stroke, and other neurological disorders.
