Isabel has extensive clinical practice in a variety of areas. Her primary area of interest is in acute care and acute orthopedics. Isabel has been teaching at CSU for a number of years in a range of subjects, as well as working as a clinical educator in orthopedics, neurological and outpatient rehabilitation; and teaching at TAFE. Isabel has also worked in project management, having completed a project for CSU and Albury Wodonga Health in Simulated Education, as well as a project enhancing inter-professional education at CSU. Isabel is completing her Masters of Public Health and currently works clinically at Northeast Health Wangaratta. Isabel is also completing her PhD researching preparing students for collaborative practice in university settings, and has completed her Graduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning Higher Education.
Isabel has been lecturing casually at CSU for the past 6 years and secured a permanent position in the program in 2014. Prior to working at CSU, Isabel worked as a clinical educator in acute care, as well as teaching allied health assistance at TAFE. Isabel is particularly passionate about Inter-professional education and collaboration within the classroom.

Isabel is an advocate for the use of simulation in education and places high importance on inter-professional education. Isabel utilises internet and simulation technologies regularly in her teaching.
Isabel is passionate about preparing students for collaborative practice which forms the basis for her PhD. Isabel is also interested in enhancing the simulation and inter-professional education within the physiotherapy course given her extensive experience in this field.
Founder of Regional Inter-professional Collaborative Healthcare Education group- a group passionate about enhancing collaboration and inter-professional practice between local health practitioners. RICHE provides regular professional development to local health practitioners designed to enhance inter-professional practice.
